The Brilliant Lecture Series has presented sixteen of the most fascinating people in the world to Houston since October 2006 with approximately 45,000 people attending these programs. It is estimated of this number at least 50% have been young people from middle school through college-level students. Our lowest ticket price of $15 enables maximum availability to the community. We have special codes for various organizations so they may purchase tickets with additional savings.
The Brilliant Lecture Series has forged significant partnerships with community organizations and sponsors that include: Prepared4Life, YES Prep School, ONE.org, The Ensemble Theater Young Performers Program, College Connections (HCC), Shell Oil Company, Rice University, University of St. Thomas, KIPP Academy, Progress In Education, Inc., BP, Prairie View A&M University, Humphries School of Theatre and Music (TUTS), The James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy, Westside High School, Fifth Ward Enrichment, Houston YMCA, Baylor College of Medicine, University of Houston, and many, many more. The Brilliant Lecture Series has amassed data on sixteen major events and the inaugural exchange visit to Amman. This information will be edited and available on a series of DVDs for our community partners to enable as many people as possible to benefit from our programming.
